Make sure the institution are implementing the change effectively:
- ask them to put divestment at the heart of their ethical investment policy;
- monitor their investments regularly to check on progress and inform them of any new companies of concern;
- ask them to pass the word on to other bodies such as the Russell Group of universities, or the Local Authority Pension Forum;
- ask them to issue a press release to let he public know why they’re divesting.
